Why My Bible Seed exists
A seed is small, but when planted and nurtured, it grows. My Bible Seed was built around the same idea: helping people plant Scripture deeply enough that understanding grows over time.
Our purpose
My Bible Seed isn’t intended to replace reading Scripture. Stories, quizzes, Perspectives, curricula, and the spiritual tree are tools that lead people back into the biblical text — to open their own Bible, study alongside the app, mark what they find, and return day by day.
Scripture & translation
My Bible Seed is designed to encourage readers to engage directly with the Bible, not to replace it.
When Scripture is quoted within certain My Bible Seed study materials, the wording is based on the public-domain King James Version (KJV) and may be lightly modernized for readability. These changes are limited primarily to archaic words and expressions while seeking to preserve the meaning, imagery, and character of the original passage.
Lightly modernized passages are My Bible Seed’s own adaptations of the KJV and should not be understood as quotations from the NKJV, NIV, ESV, NLT, NASB, or any other modern copyrighted Bible translation.
Scripture references are provided so readers can locate each passage and read it in the Bible translation of their choice. My Bible Seed encourages users to study these passages in their full biblical context.
Unlocked profile verses in the app remain poetic KJV wording and are not lightly modernized.
